OFFUTT, Nathaniel born Sep 20, 1737 died ___ __ 1786. Served as a member of the Committee of Observation for Frederick County, MD, as well as a private in the 5th Company, Middle Battalion, Montgomery Cty, Maryland Militia 30 August 1777

OFFUTT, Samuel Owen born Oct 18, 1760 died Jan 03, 1829. Served as a Private, 5th Company, Middle Battalion, Montgomery County, MD Militia in 1776.

OFFUTT, Zachariah born ___ __ 1732 died before Jul 04, 1807. Served as a Private, 6th Company, 29th Battalion Maryland.

Additional sources are listed for; Ezekiel Offutt is found in Georgia's Roster of the Revolution (Baltimore, MD: Genealogical Publishing Company, 1967) as well as Revolutionary War Bounty Land Grants Awarded by State Governments (1001 Calvert ST; Baltimore, MD 21202: Genealogical Publishing Company, 1996). The first Nathaniel was found in ths same Georgia roster as Ezekiel, as well as in Revolutionary War Land Grant file S31887; Film M804; Roll 1840 (Washington, DC: National Archives). The second Nathaniel was found in Maryland Revolutionary Records, by Harry Wright Newman, Maryland Archives, 1938. Samuel Owen Offutt is found in the Volume 85 of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
