OFFUTT, James Alfred Jr. 4587. Served with the Ohio State Guard.
OFFUTT, John R. First Lieutenant in the United States Army, 117th Infantry, 30th Infantry Division who died June 23, 1944, and has a memorial at Normandy France. The 30th Infantry Division was a National Guard Unit that had units from Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina. John was inducted from Florida. No other information known at this time.
 
OFFUTT, John T. First Lieutenant in the United States Army Air Corps. Killed flying a training mission on July 7, 1942 near Fort Valley, GA. He had enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941, but transferred to the U.S. Army Air Corps in June 1942. He was a son of William J., and Maude (Nee Rumbaugh) Offutt.

OFFUTT, William H. A Corporal in the United States Army who was assigned to the 50th Reconnaissance Sqdn., 11th Bomber Group, who died Dec. 7, 1941 in Hawaii, apparently as a result of the raid on Pearl Harbor. He was inducted from Illinois.
